In this video you could see 3 different SDGs: SDG 3, focusing on Good Health and Well-being, SDG 11, focusing on Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 17, focusing on creating Partnerships for the Goals.
While the connection to SDG 3 is easily made, let’s talk a little more about SDGs 11 and 17.
As SDG 11 is concerned with building Sustainable Cities and developing Sustainable Communities, neglecting to adhere to rules that are made to protect everyone is key for a community to be resilient. It is a social contract we all have to uphold if we want to help each other and live together harmoniously.
This connects to SDG 17, Partnerships for the Goals, by needing to work together to be the best we can be. While we have different rules and understandings in different cultures and countries, there are certain things that concern us all, such as the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Check out how important it is to uphold our social contracts in our Global Community Resources in the Social Development category!
